Coalition for Freedom, Equality and Democracy

The Constitution of Poland is being breached. The legal order is being violated. Legislation being passed by the parliamentary majority is undermining our freedoms. Freedoms that are guaranteed by the Constitution, agreed in a national referendum.

The co-operation of all who value basic rights and freedom is vital. We must co-ordinate our action. Only together can we stop the Polish state being destroyed. All hands on deck!

The Committee for the Defense of Democracy invites you all – political parties, organisations, representatives of all communities for whom democracy is dear – let us create a Coalition for Freedom, Equality and Democracy. The nation needs our protection. Let’s focus on that which unites us. Let’s meet the needs and expectations of the Poles.

We welcome everyone who values human and civil rights, freedom and equality, who upholds the legal order founded on a respect for the Constitution and a willingness to work together. Let’s meet as soon as possible, there’s no time to waste. If we don’t start taking coordinated and joint action, if we stay focused on competing with each other and arguing, we will soon disappear from the stage. And those, who trusted us will turn away, convinced that the world of politics holds no values. That only party interests and the next opinion poll are what drives us.

The Committee for the Defense of Democracy welcomes all. You know where to find us. We are ready to help organize and start campaigning. The Coalition for Freedom, Equality and Democracy is waiting for you!
